Why is the credit union name and logo changing?
Important information you need to know about the name change

Dear Valued Member,

It is with great pleasure to announce that Fulton Teachers’ Credit Union is changing its name to Family First Credit Union effective March 1, 2016.  This change comes with many hours of thought and research.  We feel that Family First better fits you, our field of membership! Through the years, we have added many private schools in Fulton County, Johns Creek Municipality, and most recently the Atlanta Public Schools.  Also, we serve many family members of the employees of these school systems.

For many years, building maintenance, nutrition, transportation, and other employees were unsure if they could join because of "Fulton Teachers’" being in our name.  Many thought being a teacher was a requirement in order to join.  Our new name is more inclusive and reflects our culture of family.  We truly believe that our members are an extension of our family and we offer the best customer service with the highest level of integrity.

Rest assured our credit union is not changing; we still have the same management, employees, board members, and the same great products and services.  Our credit union is not being merged by another credit union.  In fact, our credit union is one of the healthiest credit unions in Georgia with a capital ratio above 13%.  2014 and 2015 have been wonderful years filled with growth and satisfied members.  We are excited about serving you, our member, as Family First Credit Union!
